Why I Removed My Chatbox

It's already been more than 5 months that I've changed to this new template. I'm sure some of you notice that I've removed my chatbox from my blog. There are many reasons why I remove it and there are the pros and cons for me taking away the chatbox.

The main reason why I remove the chatbox is because some of the readers will just leave their comments in the chatbox rather than using the comment form in the post itself. The purpose to have a comment form for each post is for you readers to have your oppinions and comments to contribute further on the content or to disagree on the post and everyone will have a chance to see it. But if you leave your comments in the chatbox, after some time, it will be moved to the next page when others also leave their comment there and it's very difficult for people to refer to them...

And sometimes when you leave your comments in the chatbox, sometimes I don't even know which post are you referring to. =)

I know some of the readers oftenly come back to my blog to check on the chatbox to see whether did anyone write anything there or sometimes use it to chat with other readers on the blog. There's conversation going on within the blog is a good thing, but don't because the chatbox is removed you can't chat with other readers on this blog. You still can use the comment box.

Last but not least, I hope that you readers understand what I'm trying to convey here. If you have any questions, just leave me a comment regarding your question and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

My Answer To What's Wrong with This Three FREAKING lines?!!

Hey guys do you still remember my post on What's Wrong with This Three FREAKING Lines? Seems like nobody wanted to have a go at guessing what's the answer for the three lines I'm referring to.

LoL you guys don't like guessing things or you guys don't like a reward? Haha

For the 1st line I already gave u a hint. So if you don't get it... I have nothing to say. The 1st line is obviously the internet connection line (Streamyx). Yeah I know many of you using Streamyx are facing the same problem. Many complaints have been made but all their replies are all the same. That's because they have too many complains till they prepared a reply email template to auto-reply to this same problem.

After so many complains, there is still no action taken to improve it. We are just wasting money paying for the Hi-Speed Broadband connection but it's as slow as a dial-up. I heard that some of their servers are down but up till now they still haven't repaired it. Up till this moment it's still lagging like Sh**!

The 2nd line is - electric cable line. For the month of January, I can't recall how many times in a week there is power shortage! Just imagine it can happen twice in a day. Amazing!

The longest time it took them to troubleshoot the problem was I think around 2 to 3 hours. Maybe more, I cant really recall. For the whole February this incident didn't happened, so problem solved. =)

Okay now I shall reveal to you the answer for the 3rd line. It's Maxis line (Mobile Line Provider) . So how bad is it? I can say it's really bad. I can't make calls out or receive calls. And when I send a sms, the other person doesn't receive it until half an hour or 1 hour later. Same prob for me while receiving sms from people.

I think I better stop here if not I'll start rambling an essay here. That's all for now.

What's Wrong with This Three FREAKING Lines?!!

Okay okay I know you're wondering what are the three lines I'm talking about.

Actually I wanted to make a rant on this post but Melvin said my blog is getting kinda boring so I decided to let you guess the answers.

The first hint I think you should know what is it already. That's why this blog is so so quiet this couple of days.

Busy Playing Schedule

Have been playing drums for church services more often compared to the previous years. Almost every week sure have people ask me to take over this service or that. Tired one you know. haha

As I was typing away, I just received a sms for the songs for this coming Tuesday Bible Study. Great... here goes again, but after this Tuesday then won't be playing till next Saturday. At least get to rest. Don't tell me along the week comes another person asking me to take their place. LoL

What to do, I still enjoy playing. =)

Just tuned my snare drum during yesterdays morning practice and I still can't get it to the sound I like. Damn it !! Hopefully can tune it back to my preferred sound soon.

I feel that for me, I'll play better when my snare is in tune. I don't know why, but thats me ok. I don't think it applies to any other drummers. What I can say is drummers will always enjoy playing a well tuned drum. What say you??

I know some of you also know how it feels serving almost every week. I call this - playing the MARATHON.

Tired!!! What A Long Day

Yesterday was a very tiring day for me as I had to do my things non stop from 3pm-9pm. But in between I still manage to write a blog post regarding the Amazing Firefox Tips. Hope that the tips was useful to you. =)

Went to bathe at 9.30pm, then had to go collect money from my customer, then only manage to have my dinner at 10pm.

Then at 10.30pm, Darren called to ask whether wanna go somewhere sembang. So ended up I didn't get to rest and ended up going over to his place. Mana tau until 1.30am hungry so go to Gurney there the Kapitan eat and sembang again.

When we went there it was raining. We sembang there from raining until it stoped and started to rain again. LOL... The place was empty except the workers there and the both of us la. Obviously no people la during that time... 1.30am already.

So guess what... we sat there until 3.50am then I went home around 4am. Haha

This morning woke up at 8.30am. Less then 5hours sleep!! I'm gonna suffer during afternoon. LOL

Later afternoon still have meeting with Pastor together with the publicity team for Ignite Youth. So it's going to be a long day again.

Oh yea Melvin, before I forget, I'll reply your questions from my chatbox in another post.

HELP!!! I'm Having Songs Overload!!!

Sorry guys for not updating this blog for some time.

I will not disappoint you guys for the coming days because I've some really interesting topics and stuffs to share with you all, so do come back to check for my updates.

As you're read my title "HELP!!! I'm Having Songs Overload!!!", I'm really am being overloaded with songs in my head. This is because this Saturday is I.G.NITE! and I've been learning 7 songs within 2 weeks.

Normally I'll just roughly get the drum beats and just play my own way for any new songs, but for this time special a bit ma, it's I.G.NITE!, so I planned to learned up the songs almost exactly the way the songs are played. By the way I wont play 100% the same as of the disc la but can be very close to 100% already la. What you expect ??

So ended up for the past 2 weeks I was busy with my work and busy with learning the new songs that's why didn't really update my blog.

So how do I feel when I'm having songs overload ?? It feels like my brain is going to blow up and can't take in anymore new songs because can't go in already. LOL

Let me put "songs overload" into a perspective for you.

Let's say you're of average height and weight for your age.(growing up stage)

Suddenly you decided to eat everything you possibly can. Why? Because you were afraid of missing some important nutrient in your diet.

So you indiscriminately decided to eat everything you could lay your hands on "just in case" there was some nutrient in there that could help make you healthier.

So that's the same case la so after this I.G.NITE!, I'll be going on a "Songs Diet". to rest my brain... LOL

I'm taking in WAY TOO MUCH information and I'm OVERLOADING. It's just like when you eat too much you GAIN "WEIGHT".

So do you understand how do I feel now or how does it feel to be in this situation.

This is all I have to say for now... I wan't to go and sleep already because tomorrow morning have practice again at 9 a.m so see you guys tomorrow during I.G.NITE.

New Driving Licence

Wow, time really flies and it's like just a blink of an eye.

As you may know I have been driving quite sometime already but I didn't noticed it's has been two years. So fast!!

It expired on 5/04/08 and I didn't realized it and I still drove around until Monday. Luckily I didn't got into any trouble if not you guys that followed my car out one no need to go back la (you know who you guys are).

Happened that I was finding something in my cards wallet and I just pull out my driving licence to see and Guess What I Notice? Lol... my driving licence expired few days ago liao.

So ended up yesterday had to ask Darren to fetch me to JPJ to renew my driving licence. By the way guys, JPJ has moved to iAvenue there already. So don't go to the old office and be wondering where the JPJ went. Don't be so blur like SOTONG la.

Another incident was with my road tax. This happened during last year (2007).

I didn't even bothered to check when is the expiration date. So as you guys guessed it right la. I drove around happily la. And I continued driving for another 3 weeks... Amazing!!

I was very lucky also la in a sense, because if you're from Penang or you're familiar with that road along St. Georges Secondary School that stretch... always have road block one. And other parts of Penang also usually have road blocks during at night.

What was the funny things is that I went passed a total of around 5 road blocks and none of the police officers noticed my expired road tax. Salute to the police mans... HAHA... or mayb it was because of my "Special Sticker" on my car. Secret la can not say what sticker is it. If you want to find out go look at my car and see whether you see it.

After deciding to renew the road tax that I found out that my car Insurance date and the road tax date different. Damn it, have to pay extra if I want to renew... This car is causing me a lot of problem lo. So as you know la I wouldn't want to pay extra for the date difference and its not worth it so had to wait for 1 month to renew my Car Insurance and my road tax togather. Had no car to use for a month!! But good also la that month save money on petrol la... HAHA

Blog Makeover

Hi guys, I've not been doing any happening stuff lately so nothing much to update. Have been doing my usual stuff.

Did you guys notice any difference about my blog?? I just did some make over on my blog and the most obvious one is the Labels part. Now it looks like a cloud tag. I had to customize the HTML a bit to change it to this form. What's interesting is when under that certain topic, the words on that particular label will increase in size. You can go check it out yourself la. Lazy to explain here.

Oh yea, I also eliminated the navigational toolbar =). This bar was just hanging there and was no use to me, so I just took it away la. I also add the recent comments widget la, so when anytime someone writes a comment, it will appear there. You can get the widget by clicking the Add This Widget To your Blog button.

There are also some other things I changed and added onto my blog. You can go check it out for yourself. This will be the first part of the makeover process. There's more to go.

What will be the next part of the makeover process I shall keep it a secret first. You will notice yourself la if you pay attention to my blog. LOL

Taking A Rest

Hey guys, today I'll take a rest on the computer memory posts.

Happens that some people like it and some doesn't. HAHA....so what say you ??

What an intro that Jim (Joo Tatt) did for me on his blog at tattx-bottledstories.blogspot.com. Lol...can't blame him for doing so because he's always like this la. But thanks anyway for spreading my blog.

The first Ignite for 2008 is coming and I'm still like out of form to play. MAN !! I seriously need some prayer. Have been playing non stop for quite a while already. The record for me playing non-stop is for 2 straight months. Just imagine playing for Sun Service for 2 months but different services la. And I still didn't count those time playing for bible study, prayer meeting and for Ignite Service yet.

What's amazing part is one of the church member came to me and say "Wah you're playing tomorrow again ar ?" when i was practicing. Haha... Even church member noticed I have been playing for so many weeks. Just imagine Pastor Marcus will be thinking in his head "Why is this guy playing on Sun non-stop for the different services?"

Hey, by the way I'm not complaining la but people do get dry one k. Sometimes we need to refill also one ma right.

It's time for us to train up more new musicians because we are really lacking of musicians. It's so obvious that the generations after us is like totally no new musicians except for the girls lo. What happened to the guys !!?? Wake up Man !! It's time to rise up and and to serve God.

Soon I'll be having drum lessons for those that are interested. So those that are interested come give me your names. Details will be given to you soon but I'm planning to train those that already know how to play drums. A separate class for those that are new to drums will be open also, but I have to arrange the time for it. So fear not. =) Btw, it's very taxing one, because I do have my own things to do and I'm not the very free type of person one k.

So this is the end of my rantings. Did anyone closed the page before finishing it?? LOL....if you've had closed the page you wont be reading this part of my post already right. HAHA

Being A Listener

It is amazing how much you can learn about a person with some careful listening.

It can be the person's problems or anything else that others failed to listen to and the person with problems ended up with no help. It's goes the same as in our daily life. We tend to talk more then we listen and ended up asking back the other person " When did you say this? or Did you say this before? ".

Arguments or misunderstandings also happens when someone fails to listen properly.

There is a question we need to ask ourselves: In many of our sharing efforts, do people fail to listen to us because we have not first listened to them?

So if next time when some one doesn't listen to you, you have to recall back whether have you not listen to him when he's talking.

Sometimes it's very annoying when you're talking to this person and this person is doing his things. You will feel that don't know whether did this person heard what I just said. You feel very angry also right because this person has not shown you respect and you feel like just shouting or choking that person. =)

And sometimes there are people that just jumps into answering what you have said before you had even finished talking what you're trying to say and ended up they give you solution or answers that are totally out of topic or not related because they did not listen finish what you're saying. What a waste of time because you have to repeat it to the other person again. So let others finish talking before you give them an answer because this will save both persons time. =)

Most of us also reject people who won't listen to us - because we feel rejected by them.

You can not to agree with what the person is saying or their way of doing things but you must accept them as they are. Don't because that you don't agree with them and you ended up stop listening and respecting them because the other person might have their own problems that's why they are acting weirdly.

Listening is not an enduring quality, but it is a seeking quality that we have to learn slowly.

The quality of listening is also very important when we're trying to reach out to those non believers. This happens when you're trying to reach out to them when they are facing problems but you did not listen carefully to the problems they are facing. Ended up you giving them the answer that is unrelated to their problems.

So if you can listen properly to what the person is trying to tell you, it's much more easier to reach out to them through Christ.

The greatest gift we can give another person is our attention.

Here is a verse for you - James 1: 19 "... Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry."

By the way, I'm Not pointing out to anyone here ok. so RELAX la and don't be offended. It's just what came to my mind to write this post.
