My Blog's Google PageRank Has Increased!!

Google PageRank Logo*Updates Have Been Made*

Hey, yesterday I just noticed that my blog's Google PageRank (PR) has increased to a PageRank (PR) of 1.

Yeah I know some of your PageRanks are already 1 or 2 or maybe 3 right. And I know some of you will be thinking what the heck is this Google PageRank thing right??

So what is this Google PageRank thing about?

According to WebWorkshop.net, PageRank is:

PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page's importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is is taken into account when a page's PageRank is calculated.

PageRank is Google's way of deciding a page's importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determines a page's ranking in the search results. It isn't the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but it is an important one.

From here on in, we'll occasionally refer to PageRank as "PR".

To learn more about Google PageRank, you can just read more about it on Wikipedia.

A few days ago I was contacted by Violet from Heavybag Media.

This was the E-mail she sent me:

The public will vote to decide the top 6 entries to be submitted to an A

She contacted me because Dixon Drums is having this "Drum Your Way To Hollywood" Contest.

McLaren F1 vs 3 Mercedes Sports Cars

I just came across this cool video and I thought of sharing with you.

In this video, you will see the sheer power a Formula 1 car. Normal street racing cars nor even tuned up racing cars can compete with them. Yeah, even the Bugatti Veyron can't compete with the Formula 1 cars.

My favourite F1 team is - Ferrari. So why am I putting this video about the F1 McLaren Mercedes car but not Ferrari? It's because there are no such videos like the one you'll be watching. BUT... I'm still a Ferrari fan!

Ok here is the video....

P.S: Before I go, is there any F1 fans reading this? If yes, use the comment box to tell me which is your favourite F1 team.

P.P.S: Just wondering are there any GIRL F1 fans? I would like to know who are you too. If there's none, I'll assume that girl are just not into F1. Come on... I'm sure you want to prove me wrong right! LoL

5 Simple Steps to be More Organized and to Maximize Your Time

Time = MoneyAs you may know, one of the most important thing in our life is - our TIME !!

You may have also heard this phrase before - "Time = Money $$$$".

So how can you be more organized and maximize your precious time?

Here are 5 simple steps for achieving an organized routine to put your time to the best possible use.

1. Be Wary Of Getting Diverted

Most of time we get thrown off track by a distraction, it is not an emergency and usually something we can put off until a later time. If you find this happening to you, set yourself an alarm to go off every 20-30 minutes. Every time it sounds, make sure you are doing what you originally planned, if not get back on track. Always set the alarm to go off again to keep you in check.

2. Make A To-Do List

The most efficient way to do this is to make a list the evening before of the things you have to achieve the next day. Prioritize your list with the most important things at the top. When you sit down at your desk, start at the top and finish each task before moving on.

3. Check Off Items As You Complete Them

Make sure you are crossing off your list as you go. This will give a sense of accomplishment and keep you motivated to finish your list.

4. Confirm Your Appointments

Always call before leaving for an appointment. There is nothing worse than wasting time waiting for a client to show up when you could have spent the extra time working on your list.

*If you're still studying, this still applies to you, but just in a different manner.

5. Do A Final Check

At the end of the day, review your list and assess how many items you have crossed off. If you have a few not completed move them to the top of the next day's list. If there were lots not completed but you stuck to your plan all day/evening then you have too many things on your list. You will get an idea of what you can accomplish in your allotted time and then make your list to reflect this.

I hope this helps you get more use for your time.

P.S: If you have any thoughts in your mind about this topic, feel free to share with others here. =)

STOP WASTING YOUR TIME !!

5 Tips to Become More Successful in Your Work

I just received an E-Mail about this 5 key tips how Gary Carson, the founder of SFI, has used to get to the top. Some of this you will have heard before but if you read all the 5 tips and put them to use they will make an impact on your daily life.

This 5 tips doesn't only apply to working people but it can also be applied by those that are still studying.

So, what are the 5 tips? Here you go...

1. Post Your Goals Where You Can See Them.

Review them on a weekly, if not daily basis. That way all your focus and activity is geared towards accomplishing what you really want in life. If you set your goals and never look at them again you may end up doing things that do not move you in the right direction.

2. Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan.

On a daily basis prioritize what is most important. Every evening make a list of every thing you need to achieve the next day. Then prioritize your list so that you are working on the items that will help you achieve your goals.

Assign time slots for each task and do not let things like emails and other interruptions get into your way.

3. Learn From Those Before You.

Just remember that you do not have to invent ways to get new people to look at your business or work. Make sure you ask your senior for help, if you get no help then ask the next person above them. They should be able to show you what is working for them and the things you can do to achieve results.

4. Expand Your Own Knowledge.

Take time every day to learn something that will move you forward in your life. Whether it is listening to an audio product or reading a book. The compounded effect over time will create massive results in your life long term. If you read on 10 minutes a day for an entire year, you will have learned more about improving your life than the average person will in their adult life. This slight edge will make all the difference to creating your own success.

5. Dream Big

A life worth living is a life worth fighting for your dreams. If you do not dream how, do you know what you are working so hard to chase down. When you come to the end of your life I bet you will feel much more at ease knowing you gave yourself every chance to lived your dream life. Never let anyone steal your dreams!

Hope this was usefull to you.=)

Survey Results...

The results for the survey is final.

I would really like to thank those that took their time to reply me with their comments on the survey and their thoughts on the 3 templates.

You can refer back to the Survey Here.

As you can see, I've already changed to the new template, which is the 1st template among the 3. No doubt that it was the nicest among the 3 and most of the people who replied choose the 1st one too. =)

Before the survey, I was already thinking of changing to that template but I just wanted to see whether others would liked it or not.

Ok... enough of that said, you can see there are alot of changes that have been made, for example...

On the top left, there will be 10 of the most recent post/articles. The right section is for subscribing to my RSS Feed.

What's the purpose for subscribing to my RSS? By subscribing to ones RSS Feed, you will save alot of time by not having to go through those blogs/websites that are not updated.

You can subscribe to my RSS feed in a reader by Clicking Here or on the orange colour looking square box.

The other way to get updates is by entering your valid E-Mail address into the blank box beside the "Subscribe" button. You'll received an E-Mail when I've updated my blog. By this way, you don't need to come back everyday to check for updates.

I'll have another post explaining all about RSS feed. So stay tune for that. =)

Have you noticed at the end of all the previous post has a "Continue Reading" link there? You will have to click on the "Continue Reading" link to read the longer posts.

That's all the changes I've made.

I'll have another update if there is any other changes being made.

P.S: Please inform me if you encounter any problems. Thanks

P.P.S: If you have something to say regarding this post, feel free to write me your comments.

Before I go, I would really like to thank again those that replied me on the previous post. =)

Survey... Should I Change a New Blog Template or Not??

CunfusedHi, today I'll be needing your help to give me some of your opinions whether should I have another blog makeover or just continue on using the current one.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me decide by writing your opinions about this matter in the comment box. By the way, not the chat box on the right sidebar... ok? =)

For now, I have 3 new blog design in mind. Take a look at them...

1.
For this template, I've already finish customizing it. You can go over to http://banditdrummer.blogspot.com to check it out. You can also write me your comments regarding this template and what you think about it. Whether is it nice or not.

2.
For this, I haven't tried it yet. So I won't be a demo page for you to check it out. Please shoot me your comments too.

3.
Sorry again, I do not have a demo page for you guys to see. But, you can write me your comments what you think about it. =)

Among this 3 templates, my favourite one is the first one. If you have not check out the demo page, check it out HEHE.

Ya ya... I know some of you will be thinking, "You too free already izzit? Ok ma your current one, why wanna change?" Ok... for me, I feel kinda bored with my current one already that's why I want to have a change.

Most probably I'll be choosing the 1st one because I like it the most, followed by the 2nd & 3rd one. Yea I know, you may be saying "since I've already made up your mind, what for ask for your opinions "... RIGHT ?

Yes yes, I just want to know what you guys think and I want to have some of your opinions. It's that simple.

P.S: Faster write me your opinions. Oh yea, just to remind you not to write your opinions in the chat box as it will be quite difficult for me to go through ones it goes to the second page when there are a lot of your comments coming through.

What are you waiting for ???

Faster, shoot me your opinions and what you want to say... GO GO GO !!!

IGNITE-YOUTH'S New Website

Finally, a team of us (Alan, Stephanie & Me) has successfully launched the new website for IGNITE-YOUTH! on the 1th July 2008, which happened to be Stephanie's birthday. =)

This is really a huge leap forward for us at IGNITE-YOUTH to have this new website, compared to the old website at http://www.explosive-ignition.blogspot.com. See the big difference?

The old website was ran by Alan alone, till a group of us came together and work together to have this new website up and running. So, what I have to say is - a group of people do make things much easier and better because we can gain from each individual strong point.

So, enough said, for those that have not visited the new IGNITE-YOUTH website... go over to http://pf-igniteyouth.blogspot.com now to check it out!!
